Dr. Elliott’s forensic practice is designed to assist you and your Clients with a variety of legal psychological services, including federal and state mitigation investigation, federal and state alternate sentencing plans, psychological evaluations for juveniles and adults, as well as the assessments for neuropsychological, psychiatric, psychological and or medical evaluation by additional experts.
Dr. Lyndsay Elliott is committed to understanding how a person’s social history influences their behavior, uncovering the many facets of individual character through the development of effective and compelling life narratives. She is devoted to preserving due process and equal protection of the law for all persons, including rehabilitation in the accused. Dr. Elliott’s experience includes extensive background and training in interviewing skills, psychological assessment, cognitive aptitude and learning disability testing, as well as Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy. She remains current on the relevant research and practice, and Dr. Elliott’s wide variety of clinical experience allows her to understand human behavior under a variety of circumstances and conditions.
As a mental health professional since 2002 and a Mitigation Specialist since 2004, Dr. Elliott is a zealous advocate of preserving the Client’s right to receive the ultimate in legal services. As both a Clinical Psychologist and Mitigation Specialist, Dr. Elliott serves a dual role understanding how mental health issues affect the Client while also helping to illuminate the mitigating issues in each case.
